Dr. Javier has written for some of the most prestigious cardiovascular journals, among them Circulation and the Journal of Invasive Cardiology. He also has participated as a key speaker in over 100 international conferences including the Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics meeting in Washington, D.C. in 2007, and the annual Interventional Vein Conference in Miami, Florida in 2008 and 2009.

Dr. Javier was the Director of the Naples Cath Ventures, President of the Naples Cardiac and Vascular Specialists, and founder and director of the Naples Vein Center. He is also Co-Director of the Master Venous Practicum.

Although in most of his time is dedicated to private practice, he remains partially in academics as a voluntary Assistant Professor of the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and Assistant Professor of NOVA South Eastern University School of P.A.

Dr. Javier is trained in Interventional Cardiac and Vascular procedures, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiogram and Vascular Ultrasound. He is also a member of the American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiac Angiography and Intervention, American Heart Association, American Telemedicine Association, Florida Medical Association, Collier Medical Society, American College of Phlebology, European Society of Cardiologist and the European Society of Internventionalists.

Born in Santiago de los Caballeros in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Javier now resides in Naples, Florida with his family. Dr. Javier is the son of Former St. Louis Cardinals All-Star second baseman Julian J. Javier and brother of former Oakland Athletics Outfielder Stan Javier.

He heads the Foundation named after his father for the promotion and awareness of Heart and Vascular diseases in impoverish areas of the Dominican Republic.
